hplip-data software package provides HP Linux Printing and Imaging - data files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hplip-data
hplip-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hplip-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hplip-data *
You will get with hplip-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
